Electronic Charts, Race Marks, and More Cool Stuff

Amended 19 July 2020. Monday evening Women’s keelboat time trials are added. The maximum number of laps is increased to 3. At the end of each lap except her final lap, a boat shall round a drop mark, not the timing boat. The timing boat flag is changed to the RC flag.
NSC hosted its first two sailing events of 2020 on June 28 and July 12, sailing up to Pinhey’s Point and back, using a new “time trial” format, where boats started within a defined window. Both events proved popular, with 9 boats participating in the first, and 18 in the second.
BYC hosted the first Queen’s Park event in a “time trial” format, on Sunday, July 19, with a blustery wind out of the Southwest. See the results. For reference, these were the instructions. Start & finish times were due by midnight, July 20.
