Fall Tuesday and Thursday keelboat race series begins 25 August 2020. This will be RRS-type racing. Boats who have registered: please read the Sailing Instructions to find out which fleet you are in – it is not the same as normal years.
The Evening Time Trials continue Monday evenings for Women, with Series II beginning August 24. Thursday Time Trials concluded August 20 – see the results. No change to the TT Instructions.
For the first time in many years, the Olympic Circle set of 8 race marks is now complete, with the addition of marks B, G and H, on August 18th. See the Lac Deschênes Charts page for all the details.
A record 18 boats enjoyed a beautiful evening on the water for this year’s running of the Midnight Madness Race. Many boats were decked out with colourful lights, making for quite a show, though it’s still hard to tell who’s who in the dark, especially when the lights get turned off for racing.
Tuesday and Thursday Fall Series will begin August 25 and you must register for this racing by August 16, even if you have previously registered for racing; all previous registrations are invalid for Tuesdays and Thursdays. The NSC Board recommends the following COVID-19 safety precautions on-board boats participating in NSC events.

Enjoy non-competitive pursuit sailing on Tuesday Summer evenings, for all keelboats. Each boat has a start time based on its handicap, with the slowest boats starting first. Sail around the course and enjoy your sailing community. There’s a “Sail the Caribbean” theme, with a suitable prize each evening for the best-dressed boat.
Dinghy and catamaran Wednesday night racing starts July 29. Everyone on the boat must be in the same social circle. Perfect event for any type of catamaran or dinghy. The small-boat fleets are very happy to help new boats learn to race – get in touch.
