The red buoy K10 marking the narrow channel near the Constance shoal is out of position by about 0.17 NM downstream of chart position. The Coast Guard has been notified. The green buoy K11 is good, and should be the one used for navigating that channel. (Updated 2014-06-27).
The past 35 years have seen NSC grow and change by leaps and bounds. On Sailpast week-end – June 13th, 14th and 15th – we invite you to come join us to celebrate NSC’s past, present and future as a premiere sailing and boating club in Eastern Ontario.
Water levels have dropped more than a metre since their peak on May 21st, and BYC is scheduled to remove their gates on Thursday, June 5th. However, BYC has asked that the start of weeknight Interclub racing be deferred until the week of June 9th.
We have resolved the IE 11/new design incompatibilities reported in an earlier post.
The BYC gates are not out and hence the start of the Interclub Women’s Series I is being postponed. Until then, beginning May 26th, NSC will host a Women’s Ice Breaker Series
