FaNFaRe 2023: light winds and full sails!

This year’s Fantastic Nepean Fall Regatta was held Sept 9-10. A total of 40 boats, from six dinghy fleets participated: Martins, Club 420s, 505s, Open Catamarans, Albacores and Fireballs. NSC represented at Formula 18 (F18) Catamarans North Americans Sept. 18-22

On September 18-22, the Nepean Sailing Club will be represented at the Formula 18 (F18) Catamaran North American Championships in Burlington, Ontario. New Oct. 1 window for applications to the NSC Legacy Fund

The NSC Legacy Fund Committee is calling for applications. The Legacy Fund provides financial support for sailors in exceptional sailing/boating activities. Paul Nixon, 1966-2023

It is with great sadness that we report the passing of long-time NSC member Paul Nixon, skipper and co-owner of C&C 27 “Velero”. A drop-in remembrance service will be held at Pinecrest Remembrance Services, 2500 Baseline Road, on Thursday, September 7th, from 6-8 pm, with speeches at 7 pm. Christina, Tyler & Mitchel.
