Nepean Sailing Club has once again been accepted to be part of Doors Open Ottawa, the annual celebration of architecture and community in the National Capital Region.
Britannia’s gates were to come out today (Wed) at noon, so no more practice races – 2011 Interclub Keelboat racing will start Thursday May 19th.
The gates at Britannia are still in, so we will continue with the practice racing format for Tuesday at least.
Right now the water level remains too high for the Britannia Harbour gates to be removed.
This year, the flows on the Ottawa river going through Chats Falls generating station are presently above the average.

There will be a work party on Saturday to open the Dinghy Park beginning at 8:30 AM.
Cradle Storing Day – On Monday, May 9th, the Harbour Committee will be putting away the cradles from the May 7th commercial launch.
