All trailers that were in the grassed area South of the main gate have been moved into the yard and are secure. We owe our collective thanks to Rene Lessard for his volunteer effort and to the NSC staff. Many of the trailers moved into the yard are not authorized to be kept there. Members who do not have permission to store their trailers at NSC are to remove them from the yard as soon as practical.

NSC yard update
As of December 23rd, the yard will be open for members to check their boats. We have finished up the construction for this winter. The staff will do their best to keep both the pedestrian gates clear of snow. Please be careful walking in the yard as it is quite icy already.
Please Use Care When Pressure Washing at the Cranes
Members are reminded to please exercise care when pressure washing boats after hauling out at the cranes so that adjacent boats on W Dock are not inadvertently covered with grit and grime.
Reminder on dock overhang and bumpers
Members assigned a wet mooring are reminded to ensure their boats are moored such that there is no overhang over the main dock span (ie. bows, anchors, pulpits). Yard & Harbour Open, W and Service Docks Remain Closed
I’m very happy to report that the yard and harbour have reopened for business with the exception of W dock, the service docks and docks immediately in front of the club house which remain closed until further notice.
Oil Absorbing Pads for Inboard Motors
This year, NSC has provided members with oil absorbing pads for their bilges. Any member with an inboard engine can collect their absorbents from the Office. The goal of this initiative is to absorb minor fuel leaks prior to entering the harbour.
