Nepean Sailing Club and Britannia Yacht Club together offer the most sailboat races of anywhere in North America. This presentation is an “Information Fair” about NSC’s One Design Fleets and what it takes to make our racing program happen.
Almost 80 members and guests heard a great presentation by Michael Washer on Jan 19, and we raised over $400 for the Legacy Fund. Next week Tony Wright will talk about his family’s experience flotilla sailing in the Mediterranean, with photos from their trips along the Croatian and Turkish coasts.
Our Winter Speaker Series starts on January 19, with a different perspective on ocean sailing. As yacht owners, crew or passengers it’s easy to gain an appreciation of life on the water. But what about living and working underwater?
This week’s presentation is all about the NSC harbour and yard. Our Rear Commodore and Harbourmaster, David will cover all about how to get your boat in the water in the Spring and out in the Fall, as well as everything in between.
