The NSC harbour is now closed for the Winter as of Tuesday, 16 November. The cranes will be decommissioned for the winter later this month.

A spare tire from a member’s /J22 trailer has gone missing from the yard. This occurred between the dates of 6 and 14 November. If anyone knows of its whereabouts, or perhaps needed to use it for an emergency, please contact James Pole: mpm@nsc.ca No questions will be asked.

October 30th was another successful Trailered Boat Co-operative haul-out. Working together as a team, boat owners of 11 boats that are stored on trailers hauled out all 11 boats and de-masted several by 12:30. On Tuesday, 19 October, Water Survey Canada will be installing a new water level monitoring station adjacent to the ramp leading to the main docks. This station feeds the water level and flow monitoring system provided to the public by Environment Canada. Members are asked to use caution when transiting the area.
In order to allow for more flexibility for this coming weekend’s racing and yard reconfiguration activities, cradle placement has been changed from Monday, 18 Oct, to Tuesday, 19 Oct. For member’s safety, the yard will be closed from 0800 hrs until 1600 hrs due to heavy machinery moving the cradles.
Members, Is your boat stored on a trailer? Do you sometimes have a hard time finding enough hands to help haul out? Members are reminded to please exercise care when pressure washing boats after hauling out at the cranes so that adjacent boats on W Dock are not inadvertently covered with grit and grime.

In preparation for haul out, members can join one of the co-op mast un-stepping groups. Participants are expected to help each other from start to finish and be fully vaccinated.
