It is with great sadness that we report the passing of founding NSC member, Jack Verheyden. Please take a moment to read the note from Peter. A Celebration of Life for Jack will be held on 20 May in NSC’s Harbourview Hall from 2-4pm. Members are welcome to attend.
Winter Yard Update
This year, NSC will be providing storage for Britannia Winter Trail‘s equipment in our yard. Their volunteers will have access to the yard and will be coming and going while they groom their trails. Please be cautious of their equipment and enjoy their efforts on the trail.
NSC yard update
As of December 23rd, the yard will be open for members to check their boats. We have finished up the construction for this winter. The staff will do their best to keep both the pedestrian gates clear of snow. Please be careful walking in the yard as it is quite icy already.
Expired Flare Collection @ NSC
NSC has made arrangements with OPS to collect and dispose of expired flares. Please bring your expired flares to the office from 0930 to 1630, from the 28th of November to the 9th of December. There will be a bin to place them in outside the office. Please do not bring your expired flares to…
Winter Storage Update
As we close out the sailing year and store our boats, we would like to remind members to not leave electrical heaters running in their boats and to lock up their ladders. Pump out and yard water services were winterized Friday, November 11.
