It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Daphne Beryl Kirk-Dain on December 25, 2018 at the Ottawa Civic Hospital. A celebration of life will take place at the Nepean Sailing Club, 3259 Carling Avenue, Ottawa on Sunday, January 20, 2019 from 3 to 6 p.m. Daphne’s obituary is available here.

The volunteerism rate at NSC is so much higher than average, there is a risk of us thinking of it as the status-quo. Members of the NSC have launched boats, decorated Harbour View Hall, hosted Christmas parties for our kids, collected garbage, sat on committees, operated the cranes, run world-class regattas, tended to the property,…
The Harbour will be closed along with associated services: pump out, dock and yard water.
