Turkey Trot Race & Feast 2015 – Report & Results
Thanks to a great team of volunteers, another fantastic NSC Turkey Trot Race and Feast took place this Thanksgiving Monday October 12th at our club.
Turkey Trot Race and Feast – Monday, October 12
Gobble! Gooble! Gobble! Folks, the annual NSC Turkey Trot Pursuit race and Thanksgiving Feast is just 12 days now, and counting, on Monday Oct. 12th, 2015! Briefing (in the NSC Members Lounge): 10:00 hrs. Copies of the Special Instructions about course and start times by boat handicap will be issued.
End Of Series Social at BYC, Thursday, October 1
On Thursday, October 1st, Britannia Yacht Club graciously hosts our End of Series (End of Season) Social. Come one, come all. Good company, and finger food provided. Head over to Britannia immediately after racing!

Calling Dinghy & Cat Sailors – Dinghy Frostbite Day, September 26
Reminder, new this year is a dedicated afternoon of Dinghy/Cat Frostbite series racing this Saturday 26th! Come enjoy the warmth and light of a September afternoon of Dinghy-only series racing. 1st Warning gun is at 1330 with up to 6 races that afternoon. 2015 FANFARE Regatta Results
The 2015 Fanfare Regatta was held September 12-13 under rainy skies; however, spirits were not dampened.
National Judge Seminar – October 29
Sail Canada and NSC is pleased to host a National Judge Seminar from October 29th to October 31st as part of the Sail Canada Annual AGM & Conference in Ottawa, ON. The Seminar will take place at the Nepean Sailing Club. The Sail Canada AGM & Conference will take place nearby at the Brookstreet Hotel.

Well its past mid-August already and weeknight racing Summer Series has concluded, and what an incredible summer sailing season 2015 has turned out so far!
BYC 100 Mile Race – Friday September 11, 2015
For those interested, hardy and adventurous NSC Long Distance sailors, the infamous BYC 100 Mile Race (open to all clubs) starts this Friday September 11th at 1900h. Copies of the official Sailing Instructions, Course Description, and Certificate of Compliance can be found here.
FAntastic Nepean FAll REgatta (FANFARE) – September 12-13, 2015
The FAntastic Nepean FAll REgatta (FANFARE) is being hosted by NSC on September 12-13, 2015. This regatta is open to 505s, Fireballs, Albacores, Lasers, Laser Radials, 420s and Catamarans. FANFARE is hosting the 505 Canadians during this weekend as well, so an exciting weekend should be had by all. Check out the Fanfare web page…
