It was a great coming together as friends, team members, and fleets alike reconnected to celebrate the season at this year’s 2016 NSC Sailing Awards last Saturday evening. Dinner before-hand was fully subscribed, and the gathering crowd of NSC sailors soon overflowed into the Lounge creating a vibrant social buzz for the evening.
The NSC Galley served up a fabulous, classy 4 course sit-down meal (including dessert!) so the handing out of the glittering hardware could begin in somewhat fashionable time after this year’s NCASA / Able Sail raffle draw and the Fleet Captain’s season’s highlights.
Our MC for the night, Matt Davidge, did his usual entertaining and fantastic job of keeping things moving along through the many awards, while maintaining a high level of positive energy in the room and audience engagement.
