Club (Commercial) Launch was successfully completed this past Saturday (June 8). Despite a mechanical problem with one of the cranes, all boats were in the water by 1500 hrs. A huge thank you to the organizers, crew chiefs and many volunteers who made it all happen so smoothly. “Bravo Zulu” to all!
NOD 2017 Unveils Social Plans & Extends Early Registration
The Nepean One Design is coming (June 17-18) bringing regatta excitement and sailors to NSC for Canada’s largest open One Design regatta. 12 One Design classes including Able Sail and 2 Youth Dinghy fleets made selection, and registrations are trending for a big turnout.
Get Ready for the Frostbite Series, October 4, 11 & 18
The NSC Frostbite Series runs Sunday afternoons on the first three Sundays after weeknight racing ends*, which this year is October 4th, 11th & 18th. There are two races per day, with the first warning signal at 13:30, per Part F2 of the Sailing Instructions. There will be separate starts for PHRF, JAM and Dinghies.
2020 NSC Mooring Invoices Have Been Sent
Mooring Invoice Letters and current account statements were sent to members via e-mail on February 3rd. If you did not receive your statement, have questions, or need assistance, please contact Julie in the office at 613-829-6462, or at admin@nsc.ca. Mooring and yard service payments are due by March 1st.
Spring Open Mike Evening – Friday April 16
By popular demand and with the support of all NSC’s musical alumni and friends, an NSC member’s open mike evening is being planned for April 16th.
Yard and Harbour Access – Changes on 30 June 2021
Yard and harbour access is permitted without restrictions as of 30 June, 2021 coinciding with the provincial move to Step 2. The mandatory online form will no longer be required as of 30 June. Members accessing the patio area for dining will be screened and recorded upon entry
