Please be advised that the Quyon cable ferry has started operation. The ferry uses a submerged cable connecting the old ferry terminals at Quyon (Quebec) and Mohr’s Landing (Ontario).
Fleet is pleased to introduce the “Crew Table” as a meeting place for skippers and crew on race nights. Building on an informal but poorly advertised practice that has existed for years, the Crew Table is intended to facilitate connecting those interested in racing, with those needing crew on any given night.
With the help of 12 volunteers, the installation of NSC’s “Goose Guard Mk 4’s” was completed this morning. For all you Geese out there, this is it, your final eviction notice to leave our Dinghy Docks (we hope!).
The annual NSC rites of spring have now passed, with a great THRASH by Social, Launch, and weekly Interclub Racing has begun (Yeah!) as I’m finally pulling together this quarterly report. Your 2015 Fleet Committee volunteers have been busy putting the final pieces in place for the start of a fantastic Sailing season.
