NSC member Jonas Abromaitis proudly launched his homebuilt 21’ gaff-rigged sloop, Stella Maris, this past sailing season.

Another fantastic turnout for this year’s 2015 NSC Awards night on Saturday, November 21st.
Well Frostbite Sunday racing has ended and the annual club haul-out has begun, drawing to a close another fantastic NSC sailing season on the waters of the Ottawa River!
Thanks to a great team of volunteers, another fantastic NSC Turkey Trot Race and Feast took place this Thanksgiving Monday October 12th at our club.
Day 3, Sunday, October 18th: The third and final day of the Sunday afternoon Frostbite series finally lived up to its name, as the temperature rose from an overnight low of -5°C, peaking only at 2°C mid afternoon.
As the season winds down, please consider how the date you choose to haul out your boat has a significant impact on when you should expect to launch in the Spring. Please read our new Harbour and Yard post that explains why you should care.
