It is with great sadness that we inform you of the loss of Ray James, a stalwart NSC long time member who did much to define the personality of the Club and who passed away quietly on Wednesday Sept. 7.
A Celebration of a Well Lived Long Life – an unstructured get together of Ray’s and Barbara’s friends, no speeches – will be held at NSC on Sunday, September 18 from 1400-1700.

On Tuesday, 19 October, Water Survey Canada will be installing a new water level monitoring station adjacent to the ramp leading to the main docks. This station feeds the water level and flow monitoring system provided to the public by Environment Canada. Members are asked to use caution when transiting the area.
Thursday, September 28th after racing, Britannia Yacht Club will be graciously hosting this year’s interclub End of Weeknight Racing Social. Come one, come all and pass the word to your fellow sailors! Good company, and scrumptious finger food provided. Head over to the BYC lounge immediately after racing!
The NSC yard is now open to members from 0800 to 2100 hrs, 7 days a week. Although entry to the yard and dock area is restricted outside these hours, members returning from using their boats in the evening (after 2100 hrs) can exit through the West gate next to the clubhouse.
