The C&C 27 Fleet will be continuing their popular tradition of post race raft-ups, beginning Thursday, June 16th, and continuing on the 3rd Thursday of July & August.
Since our first organized raft-up in 2007, we’ve enjoyed quite a few on-water get-togethers, both scheduled and impromptu, when the winds wouldn’t cooperate.
So bring some post-racing munchies, your drinks of choice, and join us for an evening of socializing. And feel free to move from boat to boat while meeting others in the fleet.
For 2011, the planned raft-ups are: June 16th, July 21st and August 18th.
After the race, boats will head to the most sheltered waters near the windward shore (either Ontario or Quebec), typically ~7:30 – 8:00. See C&C 27 Raft Up for more info, and some photos from previous raft-ups. If there’s a strong wind out of the west, then unfortunately we’ll have to move the party to the dock. So on the third Thursday of each month after our race we hope to see all C&C racers, cruisers and friends!
