Right now the water level remains too high for the Britannia Harbour gates to be removed.

The convention has been to wait until those gates are removed to start the interclub racing where Britannia boats compete. Thus Racing on Tuesday May 10th will be practice racing.

Thursday also appears to be unlikely – watch the club home page for an update by 6pm Wednesday. If the gates are still in the NSC bosun’s will be running practice races both Tuesday and Thursday night. Dinghy Racing on Wednesday will proceed as scheduled. Practice racing on Tuesday will proceed as follows: Keelboat PHRF Div 1, 2 & 3 – one start only, everyone starts together. If the gates are still in on Thursday, practice racing will proceed as follows: Keelboat One-design & JAM – two starts: One-Design, all Divisions (i.e. with spinnakers) – first start. JAM (all Fleets) – second start.

Any questions, don’t hesitate to contact nsc-fleet at nsc.ca.
Regards,

Tracy Ross, NSC Fleet Captain
