Britannia Yacht Club runs the racing for Thursday night One Design racing. BYC is responsible for scoring these races, and results are posted on BYC’s Race Results page. Results on this page are copied from BYC’s web site periodically, to provide a back-up to BYC’s server, and to provide a complete record of NSC racing. Note that in the event of a discrepancy between the results posted on the NSC and BYC web sites, the BYC results are likely more current, and thus likely more accurate.

 

 

SPRING SERIES:

  • Results:
    • May 12: Practice Race, W Course, Winds E, 5-10 knots.
    • May 19: Race #1, W Course, Winds ENE 5-10 knots.
    • May 26: Race #2, W Course, Winds NNE 5-8 knots.
    • June 2: Race #3, W Course, Winds NW 15-25 knots.
    • June 9: Race #4, W Course, Winds NNW 12-16 knots.
    • June 16: Race #5, W Course, Winds SSW 5-10 knots.
    • June 23: W Course, Winds E 12-18 knots. Race abandoned due to thunderstorms.

SUMMER SERIES:

  • Results:
    • June 30: Race #1, W Course, Winds NNW, then SW 0-4 knots.
    • July 7: Race #2, W Course, Shortened to 2 legs, Winds Northwest 2-4 knots.
    • July 14: Race #3, W Course, Winds West-Northwest 4-8 knots.
    • July 21: Race #4, W Course, Winds Southwest 10-18 knots.
    • July 28: Race #5, W Course, Winds Southwest 5-8 knots.
    • August 4: Race abandoned on first leg due to lack of wind.
    • August 11: Race #6, W Course, Winds West Southwest 8-12 knots.

FALL SERIES:

  • Results:
    • August 18: Race #1 abandoned due to light and fluky winds. (Initially, the C&C 27 fleet was scored, but the race was later tossed out by the Protest Committee.)
    • August 25: Race #2, W Course, Winds West Northwest 7-15 knots.
    • September 1: Race #3, W Course, Winds East 6-10 knots.
    • September 8: Race cancelled due to lack of wind.
    • September 15: Race #4, W Course, Winds Northwest 18-25 knots.
    • September 22: Race #5, T Course, Winds West 4-8 knots.
    • September 29: Race #6, T Course, Winds West 4-6 knots.
