If you plan to use the standing cranes at NSC to launch, haul-out, de-mast or mast your boat, you must have participated in a “crane familiarization” session. If you haven’t done so already, signup is done online. A crane familiarization session will be held at the North Crane on Saturday, September 23rd starting at 8:30 AM. Please register. On arrival, check in with Parke Davis. All members & their families are welcome.
Anyone wanting to take their mast down during that morning (8:30-12PM) is also welcome. Only those with single spreaders whose masts will be kept on their boats for the winter, please. Those attending the crane familiarization at 8:30 AM are encouraged to stay around for extra “hands-on” experience to take masts down. They are welcome to join the co-op & de-mast their boats too.
