The Nepean Sailing Club’s race team recently made their debut at the highly anticipated TRY (Training Regatta Youth) Regatta in Pointe Claire, which is Montreal’s largest annual sailing event for youth. You can read all about it on the Sail Training Centre website.

Weeknight Racing starts 15 minutes earlier in September
A reminder to all racers that per the Sailing Instructions, weeknight racing starts 15 minutes earlier in September. I.e. first warning signal is at 1800 on all nights, except for the Thursday evening OD course, where the first warning is scheduled for 1755.
Report – Women in Wind, 2018: 78 Attendees
This past Saturday was the beginning of the 2018 sailing season for 76 women who joined 12 presenters for 2018’s Women-in-Wind Conference. Women came from all the Lac Deschênes clubs as well as from the Rockcliffe and Brockville Yacht Clubs.

Boats from Manitoba, Quebec, Michigan and all over Ontario are already registered for the Nepean One Design Regatta 2021. The following fleets will sail: J/22, J/80, Tanzer 22, Albacore, Viper 640, 2.4mR, 505, Youth ILCA, Optimist, Optimist Green. Join us August 14 + 15 for our highlight sailing event of the year.
