The docks at the public launch ramp in Dick Bell Park have been installed and are now ready for use. Members using the launch ramp should obey all posted signage.

The City of Ottawa bylaw enforcement officers are ticketing cars that are illegally parked in Dick Bell Park. To alleviate this problem, parking permits are available.

Purple Martin banding numbers up in 2023
On July 8 and 15 over 100 visitors attended the banding of NSC’s purple martins, Peter Huszcz, NSC’s “Purple Martin Man”, reported. He informed the Telltale that 261 nestlings were banded, up 30 from 2022.
