As per Amendment 2 of the SIs, JAM B and JAM C fleets are combined into one fleet, JAM BC. All boats with handicaps of 212 or more will start, race and be scored together in this combined fleet. Boats may display either a white or yellow backstay pennant.
This change was initiated by the JAM fleet and coordinated by Glenna Gray, the JAM fleet representative, based on fleet numbers in recent years and anticipated JAM fleet participation in 2023. Glenna reached out to all affected boats at NSC and BYC, and this initiative was widely supported.
JAM sailors are invited to reach out to Glenna on any matters related to JAM racing, including this change.
