Calling on all members, the Membership Committee is looking for volunteers to participate in welcoming our new members in the upcoming New Members Orientation and Social in May (date TBC).

2022 Membership renewal letters and invoices were e-mailed to all current 2021 NSC members on October 1st, and were due by November 1st, 2021, the start of the club’s next fiscal and membership year. Please check your inbox and any spam folders to ensure you have received your 2022 renewal notices.
This past Sunday, NSC assisted in transporting volunteers to Aylmer Island for a shoreline clean up. 13 volunteers from Ottawa Riverkeeper and Deep Blue Cleanup and three boat drivers from NSC removed 44 pounds of garbage and a derelict fiberglass dinghy. The 2.4mR sailors need support to help transport their boats to regattas and training camps in Montreal (May 31-Jun 1), Newport RI (Jun 25-Jul 1st), Kingston (Jul 12-15) and Toronto (Sept 19-22).
Monday October 14 is our annual Feast, to give thanks for the wonderful community of NSC and a great 2019 sailing season. We need volunteers to cook turkeys and other foods at home, and to help lay out the food. Sailors sail in the Turkey Trot pursuit race.
We need volunteers in kayaks, canoes & rowboats to watch over the swimmers following the group along the Bring on the Bay swim course.
