Public Relations is looking for more volunteers to “deepen our bench” for club audio visual broadcast capacity. We need alternate audio and camera operators, and switchers to join our well organized team. Training provided but experience an asset. We will visit a creative studio on Feb 13 together and receive training on Feb. 20. Please email the Public Relations Director for more information.
We have had reports of e-mail being sent to @nsc.ca forwarders not being delivered to their intended recipients. This includes e-mail to forwarders such as scoring-inquiries, rc-volunteer-coordinator, webmaster, protests, etc.
Once again this year, we will be welcoming members of the greater Ottawa community to see and learn about our club through the Doors Open Ottawa event this weekend.
NSC’s Membership Director, John Connolly, will host a light lunch and recognize the very significant efforts of those who have volunteered over the past year. Check NSC’s website for a chance to sign-up and think of your fellow members who have volunteered and suggest they join in too!

Cruising the BVI’s Permanently – Here’s Rod’s story: “I stepped on a sailboat for the first time in my life at 60. Totally hooked. Two weeks later we owned a Venture Newport 23. Three years later we bought a 1988 Bayfield 32 and down to the BVI’s we went”.
