Since re-installed a month ago, every outage of the Windicator has been a result of it being unplugged.
Regardless of what we do to display the information from the NSC Weather Station, there is no valid data if the unit is powered off.
The location of the NSC Weather Station in the club lounge is problematic as it can be disabled or unplugged by anyone. Warner Monteiro is working with Jay Morden to move the Weather Station into the NSC Office but until then, it remains a very weak link in this system.
The Weather Station has a battery to keep its setting and to help with temporary power failures. Because it remains on for a moment when it is unplugged, it is not obvious that there will be a problem.
