If you plan to use the standing cranes at NSC to launch, haul-out, de-mast or mast your boat, you must have participated in a “crane familiarization” session. If you haven’t done so already, signup is done online. A crane familiarization session will be held at the North Crane on Saturday, October 1 at 8:00 AM. Please register. On arrival, check in with Parke Davis OR Peter Lok who will lead the session. All members & their families are welcome.
Anyone wanting to take their mast down during that morning (8-12PM) is also welcome. Two spots are already taken. Preference to those with single spreaders whose masts will be kept on their boats for the winter. Those attending the crane familiarization at 8AM are encouraged to stay around for extra “hands-on” experience. They are welcome to join the co-op & de-mast their boats too.
