Launch Day May 1 – Please read through the Launch Day Procedure

  1. WHEN YOU ARRIVE, REGISTER WITH ANY RADIO PERSON at the Clubhouse or with the safety crew
  2. BRING YOUR FRS RADIO and LISTEN ON CHANNEL 10 STAY NEARBY and LISTEN TO THE CLUB PA SYSTEM
  3. WHEN YOUR NAME/BOAT IS CALLED, GO TO THE SAFETY CREW BEHIND THE NSC CLUB CRANE TO BE ESCORTED TO YOUR BOAT AT THE LAUNCH DOCK
  4. ONCE LAUNCHED, TAKE YOUR BOAT TO YOUR SLIP and GET OUT OF THE LAUNCH AREA ASAP (TOW BOATS WILL BE AVAILABLE)
  5. AFTER THE CRANES LEAVE, YOU MUST FOLD YOUR CRADLE SATURDAY PM OR SUNDAY (SINCE CRADLES WILL BE PACKED AWAY FOR THE SUMMER EARLY MONDAY MORNING) or YOU WILL PAY IF THE CREW HAS TO DO IT – MARK YOUR PADS (Bow/stern, port/starboard – helps setting up in the fall) AND TAKE THEM HOME

NO WORKING ON YOUR BOAT ON LAUNCH DAY

No entry to the launch area for any reason until the cranes have left. This helps keep a well coordinated and safe launch.
