Winter Speaker Wed Feb 7, 7.30pm: Matthew & Kathleen Eglin, With a Rally Group to the Caribbean
NSC members Matthew and Kathleen returned last year from a year spent cruising the Caribbean on their 43 foot sailboat including buying and importing a boat, a pre-cruise refit and participating in the ARC Caribbean 1500.
Winter Speaker Wed March 9 Able Sail – Champions in the NSC fleet
Michele Cimon, former NSC Sail Training Director and now Lead for NSC Adaptive Sailing, will recount the journey of how NSC came to host the Able Sail Program, from conception to current day.
Winter Speaker Sat. May 27: The Ropeman (Art Grant) Splicing Workshop
Postponed to May 27 as a result of the flooding. He will be onsite during the Yard Sale starting around 9 am, and conduct his workshop on the Harbourview Room starting at 1.30 pm.
