Water levels on Lac Deschênes are approaching record low water levels; they are currently lower than they have been since 2012. There have been some incidents of boat groundings on the east side of the channel near the 4th green buoy when leaving the harbour area. Please proceed with caution.

See our Water Levels page for real-time and historic water level data. As of September 8, the water is at 57.64m, 26cm below datum; the record low for this date was 57.58m. The lowest level ever recorded was 57.44m on September 25, 2005.

Staff will do their best to ensure the channel markers mark the deepest water, though there is only so much they can do.
