Long time NSC members John and Eleanor Tutton will take us along on a sailing boat flotilla through the Greek Islands, embellished with their photos. If you have ever dreamed of sailing the fabled Greek Islands, come to obtain insider information and advice for realizing your dream.

Many have found that sailing in a  flotilla takes much of the worry out of a bareboat charter.  Having an experienced and well equipped crew on a lead boat takes care of route planning, harbour formalities and even minor breakdowns on route. Having someone to guide you in the intricacies of med mooring as you arrive in a strange harbour is very reassuring. Plus you get to meet interesting travellers from other boats. Yet flotilla sailing is much less regimented than you might imagine.

John and Eleanor will be happy to share their experience and answer your questions.

The kitchen opens at 5.00 pm, and the presentation will start at 7:30 p.m.  Wednesday is Steak Night. Members of all local sailing clubs obtain a discount on food purchases by showing a valid club membership card. Attendees are asked to make a donation to support the NSC Legacy fund.

The speaker series continues weekly until April 17. Please see the Winter Speaker page for details.
