NSC will host an Ontario Sailing University seminar on Saturday, February 29th. Learn about sail controls, shape, and trim to improve boat speed from Nigel Crosscombe, an Ontario Sailing University instructor.

Morning: Sail Controls and Sail Shape

This seminar will cover how to set up your mast and sails and what controls you have to change for optimal trim and control.

Afternoon: Boat Speed and Sail Trim

This seminar will look at how to get the most speed from your boat. Topics include tuning of the mast for different wind conditions, trimming tips for your sails and steering techniques.

The teacher is Nigel Crosscombe who is a Sailing Instructor & Learning Facilitator for Ontario Sailing.

Register online for this seminar. Fee $75 + HST. $40 + HST for under-18 and students. Lunch is included.

The event is open to NSC members, members of other clubs, and the public.

Course check-in is at 0830, and the seminar will run 0900-1600.
