It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Daphne Beryl Kirk-Dain on December 25, 2018 at the Ottawa Civic Hospital. A celebration of life will take place at the Nepean Sailing Club, 3259 Carling Avenue, Ottawa on Sunday, January 20, 2019 from 3 to 6 p.m. Daphne’s obituary is available here.
Born in Grimsby, Great Britain. Beloved wife of Gerald Dain. Survived by her son Andrew Collier and daughter Toni Patricia Collier, predeceased by her children Lesley Ann and Jonathan Peter Collier. Stepmother of Margaret Dain and Sue Ostermann. She will be missed by her grandchildren. Daphne was a retired teacher at the High School of Commerce, Lisgar Collegiate, Queens University and the Ontario College of Art. A celebration of life will take place at the Nepean Sailing Club, 3259 Carling Avenue, Ottawa on Sunday, January 20, 2019 from 3 to 6 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Ottawa Hospital Foundation would be appreciated.
