The Albacores are coming! The Nepean Sailing Club in partnership with the Canadian Albacore Association is proud to host this year’s 2017 Canadian Albacore Championship, September 22 to 24th. Top teams and boats from across the country and Eastern U.S. will join members of our local fleet for 3 days of competitive dinghy sailing, social entertainment, and NSC’s renowned hospitality and facilities.
Teams will compete in either the Championship or Challenger Fleets in an exciting single line start on the water for a bevy of annual class championship trophies. The experienced championship regatta Race Committee includes NSC members led by PRO Mario Poirier (also NSC).
On shore activities include Friday and Saturday regatta dinners in Harbourview Hall, and NSC will also be hosting the class association’s AGM following awards on Sunday. If you’re on the river, or around the club, be sure to check out the action and extend a warm welcome to our visiting club teams.
