NSC’s FAntastic Nepean FAll REgatta (FANFARE) is going East Coast style! this year with a full weekend of Dinghy and Cat racing and a Celtic-themed Saturday evening. Featuring the Fireball Ontario and 505 Fleet 4 Championships, invited classes include 420s, Albacores, and an Open Catamaran class. See fanfare.nsc.ca for the NOR, to register, and other details.
In concert with FANFARE, NSC’s Social Committee will be hosting a good old fashioned east coast kitchen club party Saturday evening with a Pig Roast dinner, music by the Lyon Street Celtic Band, and Ceilidh dancing. Tickets are extra, and should be purchased in advance online before they sell out.
Registration for FANFARE is open till 20:00 on Friday September 8th with a 5 boat minimum required by September 6th for fleet eligibility. So check out the NOR, register early, and don’t forget to reserve in advance for Saturday’s NSC Pig Roast and Ceilidh.
