Our popular Winter Speaker series continues February 15 with Matthew Bastian & Fred Horst. They will present their experience sailing the North Channel – a much requested topic.
Brothers-in-law Matthew & Fred, along with their wives, have been towing their sailboats, a Bayfield 25 and a Hunter 26, to the North Channel for 4 consecutive seasons of sailing. They 
will share their experiences, both the joys and the challenges. They will cover topics such as where to launch, re-provisioning and anchorages.
The kitchen opens at 5.00 pm, and the presentation will start at 7:30 p.m. Check the Galley menu for specials keyed to the theme of the week – this week with a Dutch theme! (If you have never tried Bitterballen, now is your chance.) Members of all local sailing clubs obtain a discount on food purchases by showing a valid club membership card.
Attendees are asked to make a donation to support the NSC Legacy fund.
