If you have been thinking about getting family or friends out on your boat, today, June 25, is the day to do it.
On Saturday, June 25th NSC will be hosting its second annual Get Out on the Water day, a joint initiative between Ontario Sailing and ROWONTARIO to promote and grow the sport of sailing.
More than 150 members of the public will be coming to the club between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. to tour the facility and get out on a keel boat or dinghy with a skipper. More than 50 volunteers will be on hand to make this a fun and exciting day for participants.
For members, it’s a chance to bring guests to the club while it’s at its best. Also, there will be a band playing in the afternoon and the Galley will be open.
