The Miami Olympic Classes Regatta (OCR) is the only ISAF World Cup points regatta to be held in North America this year. Again NSC will be represented in the 2.4mR class by Christine Lavallee and Peter Wood. Aaron Wong-Sing will be skipping this event as he has recently received a promotion at work limiting his sailing time and also has some boat repairs as a result of the heavy winds at the 2.4mR world championships last November.

Entries close January 8th and as of Sunday January 3rd there were sixteen entries with another six to eight entries expected over the next few days including John Ruf current world champion and Paul Tingley current Paralympic gold medallist. Racing starts on Friday January 22nd with a warm-up regatta, the US 2.4mR mid winter championship with the OCR starting on Monday January 25th.

We will be sending reports from Miami throughout the regatta.
