I do declare the harbour to be open! The ice finally left the harbour and yesterday a team of volunteers assembled to go through the harbour opening ritual. With Commercial Launch set for May 27, we are poised to finish our Yard re-configuration and officially open Trailer Launch and Park areas shortly. Please keep an eye on your inboxes for further instructions. There will be some short Yard closures in the coming weeks while cradles and other members’ equipment is tucked away.
A huge “Thank you” to the organizers, leaders, skippers/owners and members who pitched in to help clean up the yard and around the clubhouse this past Saturday. Everything from the “bathtub ring” to the walkways to the tent awnings was completed. Our club now looks like we are truly ready to enjoy a great season…
