Celebrate the coming of spring and the nautical season at the Nepean Sailing Club with a special Spring Concert featuring The Life of Pearls.

Here’s what Jewel FM 98.5 and The Canadian Tulip Festival said of The Life of Pearls, when the band played the Tulip festival headliner fireworks concert last year:

The Life of Pearls have a knack for finding that perfect musical recipe that can best be described as beautifully rendered jazzy pop songs for adults. Through inspired music and lyrics composed by Toronto/Ottawa songwriter and music producer Timothy Trieste, lush and sensitive vocals from the band’s accomplished lead singer Shann Bailey, and beautifully delivered arrangements from a group of talented veteran musicians, The Life of Pearls present songs from their forthcoming album due for release in June 2016.
The experience of this music is made that much more meaningful through the delivery of a kind of poetic and philosophical TED Talk along with multi-media projection which connect the songs and themes. Exploring the idea of the pearl that grows inside of everything, The Life of Pearls is a concert for the heart and the mind.

There is a connection between the NSC and The Life of Pearls.
NSC Club member and owner of the boat “Bliss”, Charles Richer is the bass player in the band.
“Bliss” was featured in the music video made here at the club for The Life of Pearls song called Sugar Waves.
See a preview of that song and others at the band website link below.
