The 2015 Fanfare Regatta was held September 12-13 under rainy skies; however, spirits were not dampened.
The NSC Race Committee ran 8 races over the two day period for the 6 fleets of 38 boats, despite a brief N/G flag postponement caused by a thunderstorm passing through.
Congratulations to Cynthia Des Brisay and Charles Hansen of the Kitsilano Yacht Club in Vancouver for winning the 505 Canadian Championship. Everyone had a great, but soggy, time with good wind and warm gatherings such as Saturday’s Hip-of-Beef Dinner after racing.
