Unfortunately, it was a pretty wet evening last night, a little too wet to stand outside and learn about Cranes. While a few Members were on hand, we agreed to move the session to Saturday May 30 at 1pm. If you’d like to join, please meet near the South Crane at 12:45pm.

Electric Propulsion: The Future Is Already Here!
There is a new sound being heard around the NSC docks, as sailboats come and go from the harbour; it is the sound of nothing at all. Instead of all the noise and a face full of diesel or two-stroke smoke, more and more boats are motoring almost silently, on electric power.

Fair Warning: Yard closure to vehicles coming up
Looking ahead, we’re anticipating a sharp increase in launch activity and it’s possible that we’ll need to close the yard to vehicles as early as April 28 and/or April 29. This is done to help our Service Providers launch boats quickly and efficiently. If necessary, timing and details will follow.
