NSC will again host an Ontario Sailing sponsored Club Judge Training Seminar & Test, running 9:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. on Saturday, November 15th. Have you interest in serving on protest committees, or perhaps you’re just interested in learning more about the rules and protest committee procedures? This is a great opportunity, as these seminars are few and far between.

Cost is $55/person, includes lunch, and registration is open to any member of a Sail Canada club (which includes all of the Ottawa area sailing clubs). More information is available on the Ontario Sailing web site, and applicants can register on-line.

In the interest of attracting more younger sailors to get involved in race management and officiating, the Commodore has agreed to sponsor up to five NSC members under the age of 35 to attend this seminar. If interested in availing of this offer, send an e-mail to our Commodore, Scott Hayley, who will then confirm if you are one of the first 5 to apply. Then register and pay for the course. Upon completion of the course, forward the e-mail from Scott to NSC Accounting, with a request for reimbursement. A cheque will then be mailed to you.

Space is limited.
