NOTE: The capability to create title posts no longer exists within NSC’s WordPress. The effort to maintain and update the widget that provided this capability was not deemed worthwhile, given its infrequent use.
A “Title” post is one which, when the user clicks on the title of the post on the home page, it redirects the user to another page, and not the post itself. This is useful if the post only contains one or two lines that can be displayed on the home page without a “more” statement. This technique is also used with Upcoming Major Events posts.
To create a title post redirect to another URL, use the WP Editor Redirect widget shown below the main window. Click the same check boxes as shown below:
Note: If logged on as the boss, the widget appears on the right side, below the Page Attributes.
