As you know, Launch is planned for Saturday, May 10, 2014.  As of today (Sunday), the ice has finally left our harbour and, of course, Mr Patterson’s boat is the first in her slip.  There are some important dates to keep in mind for the coming few weeks:

  • We plan to open the Harbour this week.
  • May 10: Launch.  The Yard will be completely closed to vehicle traffic until the Commercial Cranes have left NSC.  If you are launching on May 10, please read this notice before Launch Day and also this notice as the Day approaches.
  • May 11: If you launched on May 10, your cradle must be folded on May 11 since it will be stored on May 12.  If your cradle is not folded, NSC will fine you.
  • May 12: The yard will be closed while cradles are being stored.  This is a safety precaution as volunteers are driving heavy equipment in the Yard.
  • May 13-16, 17&18: Volunteers led by Norm Dafoe will be “unpacking” and opening the Dinghy Park
