Congratulations to NSC members Rune Lausten and Jochen Mikosch who finished second in the Fireball US Nationals held last weekend at the Pymatuning Sailing Club in Ohio. Conditions were very light and shifty and the team was leading the regatta at the end of Saturday. Sunday saw slightly stronger winds but still shifty and despite consistent top finishes the Rune/Jochen team were unable to retain their hold on first. The regatta was won by Pat Crump and Jane Millican from the Davis Island YC in Tampa, FL.
